Radha Allen is co-founder and project manager of B3. She also has experience of being a Recovery Practitioner and Breaking the Cycle worker (working with families). She has always been passionate about making sure that the voices of people with lived experience are meaningfully heard at every level of service provision and has helped other services create LERO’s, within the substance misuse field and beyond.

From Lived Experience to Professional: The Importance of Working Together

Drawing from extensive experience with treatment providers, lived experience groups and the civil service, this panel will explore the significance of integrating human experiences into professional settings. They will highlight some of the progressive partnership work they have been involved in and emphasise the importance of bringing together organisations with a range of perspectives and skills, breaking down barriers to collaborative working. This will be illustrated through a current project, the London Recovery Network – in which participation by delegates will be invited.
