Dr Derek Price joined Sierra Tucson as its CEO in January 2023, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and experience from his time as CEO of Desert Hope Treatment Center, a 150-bed treatment centre offering residential treatment, partial hospitalisation programming and intensive outpatient programming.

During his time at Desert Hope, Dr Price secured Joint Commission accreditation, with a score exceeding 99%. He also implemented extensive leadership training and directed multiple cultural development programmes. He was also instrumental in guiding his team through the Covid-19 pandemic, ensuring that safety standards exceeded the CDC’s and state’s measures for patient and employee safety.

Dr Price’s diverse professional background includes opening more than a dozen chiropractic clinics, serving as a leadership consultant and spearheading numerous philanthropic projects. He is also a former NFL player for the Detroit Lions!
