Police and crime commissioner

Prior to campaigning full-time for three years to become a PCC, he had been a senior executive in the pharmaceutical industry and had run his own medical education company specialising in hard to treat medical areas. He has been a school governor and chair of governors and believes in creating aspiration and opportunity in young people.
Regarding addiction he believes in tough enforcement, effective treatment and impactful prevention. Recently he has inputted on both gambling and drugs for legislation, Home Office initiatives and the Home Affairs Select Committee.
He is passionate about ensuring that the issues of addiction are addressed to remove harm both from the individuals and their affected communities. He wants police to be crimefighters to keep people safe and put victims first.
